Rode a motorcycle from Wichita,Kansas to get here The trophy collection, all earned from one man, is phenomenal. Many motorcycles to see. The building is deep and appears small from the outside, but is rather large once you enter.
We made it over to the Kansas Motorcycle Museum after camping with the Boy Scouts at Kannapolis Lake. Talk about a cool experience. This museum has a lot of rare and very noteworthy motorcycles. Not only are there some flat track bikes, but there are also board trackers, off road bikes, road bikes, and even a few drag bikes. Make sure to stop by and check it out. While you're there, stop in to City Sundries just down the block. The food is pretty good, and the building is really cool if you're into old stuff. For that matter, the entire downtown area is pretty neat because of all of the old buildings and trim. Go on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday so that Rusty Tin Boutique and Vintage (the antique store) is open. For the lover of all things vintage, Marquette is a pleasant surprise.
Free museum that takes donation's only and is worth the drive and even better for the ride if you take your own bike
Very helpful and friendly. We got in on a really hot day and they immediately offered us water! A lot amazingly beautiful motorcycles! Worth the time off the beaten path.
One word: awesome. If you like any type of motorcycles, you need to stop by. Plan to spend some time!
